I became a Christian at a young age and grew up in the church. In college, God used people around me and experiences to deepen my relationship with Jesus Christ. One of these experiences was working at Camp Longridge! I was a staffer for two summers (2005, 2006) as well as a variety of weekend retreats. I have been on Staff for TGT since 2004 and each year I feel that I learn just as much the girls that attend! I teach first grade and was married on June 12, 2010 to the man God chose for me, Josh Caines. We live in North Charleston with our dog, Blaze. God continues to use the people in my life and ALL experiences as opportunities to trust him in everything I do. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says: “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Email me at aecaines@gmail.com! "

My name is Ronda Putnam. I attend Charleston Southern University where I am a junior. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have several verses that I like but one of my favorite is Galatians 2:20 which says: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I like this verse because it reminds me that Christ lives in me and my life isn’t mine it’s His. Some of my hobbies are riding my bike, reading, being on facebook or myspace, and listening to Christian music. Kttycats268@att.net

I grew up in Pawleys Island, SC and at the age of 7 I began my relationship with Christ which has been the greatest thing ever. Throughout elementary, middle and high school God continued to teach me new things through retreats and the people He placed in my life. I first went to Camp Longridge for a retreat during my freshman year in high school and at that time little did I know I would spend some of my best summers there. Upon graduating high school I attended North Greenville University where I received my degree in youth ministry. Throughout my college years I spent four wonderful summers serving at camp and loved the experiences and the things that God has taught me. Since serving at camp during the summers I have continued to serve off and on during various retreats. I am currently living in Asheville, NC working with children and teaching a small group of high school girls at my church. My favorite verse is Proverbs 31:30 and I cannot wait to see what God has planned for That Girl Thing 2010! My email address is kdvanderlip@yahoo.com

Camp Longridge has been a part of my life since I was seven years old. I attended the children and youth camps every summer and even went twice one summer. When I was eight years old, I accepted Christ as my Savior at the old chapel. Growing up I was in church on Sunday, Wednesday, and any other time the doors were open. I was a staffer at CLR from 2000 to 2004. During my staffer years, my relationship with God grew and matured more than I could have ever imagined. The people God allowed in my life during those years guided me to who I am today. I thank God everyday for the many experiences that He has lead me to and through. Without Him my life would be empty. He blessed me with my amazing husband, Robert, and we were married on May 1, 2010. We currently live in Orangeburg, SC and attend Cornerstone Community Church. I am excited to see what God has in store for us in the future and we are holding His hand each step of the way. The scripture that has always been my favorite is Proverbs 15:13a "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance". Another that I live by is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

One of my favorite verses that always encourages me is Matthew 6:34, which is "Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day will have enough trouble of its own". I am so excited for this weekend and cannot wait to see what God has planned!!! My email is widgeonj09@students.ecu.edu

Hey girls! My name is Katie Magee and I'm a senior at UNC-CH majoring in Chemistry with plans to begin medical school next year. In my free time, I love to run, cook (I make a killer ice cream cake), and rock out to Third Day (and MercyMe, Shawn McDonald, Tenth Avenue North…the list goes on!). Free time is kinda rare though—I'm usually babysitting, tutoring, interning, or doing homework. This is my first year as a counselor and I'm SO excited to hang out with and love on some great girls! And to prepare my campers and myself to live radically for our awesome God—Matthew 5:14-16: "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Email me at kmagee@live.unc.edu!
